well,what the....pretty inactive last year,just one post for the whole year:). Will give some update soon especially since Celcom will launch LTE 4G network soon.

Celcom First

It's has been months since my last post here,well here am I,going to discuss about Celcom First.Before this Astro come out with Astro First for their pay per view movie subscription,and now Celcom with their 'First' product. Frankly speaking,i also still didn't understand this plan even though already read the plan multiple times:). See their plan overview below,sadly not much detail though:(

Now look at Celcom First Rate

There are not much different compare to their previous Executive plan except that the lowest tier for Celcom Executive plan is Exec 20,follow by Exec 50 and Exec 250.One more thing,this Celcom First plan also include some FREE data. From their FAQ, Celcom also mention that you can choose between postpaid or prepaid for this plan which is quite confusing since for the prepaid customer,should they maintain monthly usage of at least RM40 in order to enjoy this plan or any amount will do? Well,since i also still trying to understand this plan,i think it would be better if you guys straight away ask them by calling their customer service at 1 300 111 000 or 1111 (FOC line for celcom customer)

Celcom iPhone 4S plan?

I guess all ios fan currently in iphone 4S fever and compare to last Iphone 4 launch which are exclusive to certain telcos only,this 4S will be launch simultaneously by all our big three telco.

If you are waiting for celcom iphone plan,then this is some hint about the package price.
For some of you that are loyal to celcom,and fulfilled all the requirement below;

Celcom Airtime Share

Celcom airtime share(CAS) enable celcom customer to share their extra credit to other celcom prepaid users.You just need to type sms RM(amount) send to recipient number but you need to add the nmber 1 before the recipient number,examples if your recipient is 0191234567 then you need to send the sms to 10191234567.You will then will receive a reply sms and need to reply OK if everything is correct.Every successful will be charged RM0.50.
As for now,celcom CAS user can win a Modenas motorcycle daily until end of Nov by just making CAS 2 times in a day and will stand a chance to win the daily prize.The system will pick the winner randomly everyday and the winner will be contacted by celcom.

The daily transfer limit for unregistered CAS user is RM10 and for registered user the limit is RM100.However you need to remember that you only can send up to RM25 for each transaction and your recipient can receive only maximum RM50 per day or 3 times transactions in aday.That mean if your friend received RM1 thrice in a day,then he/she won't be able to receive anym extra credit even though the total amount is just RM3.

The only requirement for you to send credit to other person is you need to make sure you use more than RM10 since you registered the number.If you get any error asking you to use that amount even though you already used more than that,just call celcom careline and ask them to check it for you.If valid,then they should activate this service for you manually.

Celcom Talk-A-Thon

Celcom is giving away about RM3.15mil worth of voucher to their existing and also their new customers.Each voucher worth RM5000 and you can spend the voucher at selected merchant which are Giant Hypermarket, Parkson, Ikea, Econsave, I-Study, Top Shop, Forever 21 in Peninsular and Farley Hyper Market, H&L Supermarket for Sabah& Sarawak customers.

The mechanics is for both the daily winners and festive winners. Existing Customers

Celcom Mobile Broadband mAdvance and mPro NEW PRICE

For those that are currently used celcom mobile broadband with a voice plan,there is a good news for you.Starting 15th August,the price for mobile broadband mAdvance(3GB) and mPro(5GB) will be reduced by RM10 to RM58 and RM88 respectively.

So customers that are currently pay RM118 for CE50+mAdvance will only pay RM108 for the same service.The volume and speed remain the same as before which is 3GB and 5GB respectively and speed of up to 3.6Mbs.Once you already used all your allocated volume,the speed will be reduced to just 64kbps.

Samsung Galaxy S II and Galaxy S Plus now by Celcom

Well,starting today,Celcom will also offered Samsung Galaxy S 2 to their existing and also new customer.Just like their other Android phone package,the packages offered are CE50+mBasic, CE50+mAdvance and lastly their CE250.The contract period are either 12 or 18 months.

As you can see above,you can get the phone from as low as RM1208 for 18 months contact,but the monthly fee is RM250.

At the same time,they also add Samsung Galaxy S Plus into their Android package.
